Manuka MAGIC

Ingredient Quantity Notes
Raw Ginger 586.7 grams
Apple Cider Vinegar 293.3 ml
Elderberry Extract 18.0 grams = 2 tbs
Manuka Honey UMF 10+ (MGO 263+) 55.0 grams = 2 tbs

Directions:

  1. Wash, peel, then chop raw ginger. Choose organic if you can, but conventional ginger is generally safe if washed and peeled well (soak in water and baking soda at the start).

  2. Add to blender: chopped ginger, ACV, 2 tbs of elderberry extract, and 2 tbs of Manuka honey. A commercial blender like a Vitamix or Blendtec is recommended. 

  3. Refrigerate. This will yield 1 quart or about a month’s worth (depending on your usage). 


Recommended Use:

  1. At the first sign of a cold/flu/digestive issue, mix two heaping tablespoons with 4-6 oz water (or seltzer) and take 3x daily. You may dilute it further to your taste.

  2. For general maintenance, mix two heaping tablespoons with 8 oz water (or seltzer) and take every morning. Can also be taken at night for improved sleep quality (opens passageways for better nighttime breathing).
